Corrientes del mar:
Según RECH et al. (2001) se puede destacar dos épocas más húmedas en los últimos 15.000 años en el desierto Atacama: Entre 15.400 hasta 9.000 años y 8.000-3.000 años se detectaron una mayor cantidad de agua que hoy.
